We used our spare Sunday afternoon to visit Mount Tamborine, which is only a 40 minute drive from our house.
It's a stunning location, featuring old-fashioned English styled homes, crisp climate, arts/craft markets, and a spectacular view of the hinterland. The mountain air favours a great deal of vegetation, including large varieties of Marigold and Camellia, that struggle in the lower parts of Queensland's coastal climate. There are also many family friendly venues and attractions.
We spent most of our time at Cedar Creek Estates, before getting ice cream and fudge in town, followed by a dinner at the Bearded Dragon on the way home last night.
Here's some photos we took! Really need to shoot a wedding here sometime!
